Fall Foliage in Ohio

The weather is finally breaking around Bill Harris CDJR. It’s been a hot summer, but we have a cool and relaxing fall to look forward to. For some people in our state, fall is the most beautiful season, with all of the rich foliage in Ohio, so here’s where to find some colorful, leafy sites.

John Bryan State Park

Ohio’s quaint, legendary hippy town Yellow Springs has plenty of local eats, fun shops, and friendly, interesting company, but what really makes the area special is its adjacent woods, John Bryan State Park. It sits between Yellow Springs and Clifton and makes for some gorgeous fall hiking.

Mohican State Park

This park is just a 30 minute drive south of Bill Harris CDJR. Its stunning foliage begins changing in early October, and with Malabar Farm State Park it’s easy to make a nice weekend trip of the two special Ohio parks.

Zaleski State Forest

If you like experiencing your fall foliage from the trail, Zaleski State Forest is a great place to visit. The forest features over 23 miles of backpacking trails, so you can get up close and personal with nature. Be sure to make your way towards Lake Hope, where you can see the foliage as it’s reflected on the water.
